Helen Clarke is a greatly intelligent politician with immense experience but i suspect the mood of the country will be for change and John Key comes across quite well.
I find that voters seem to be swayed by very silly things [like whether or not they like the sound of someone's voice or their teeth or the nature of their relationships, etc] and most people don't understand much about the parties they are voting for.
sasha's mum interviewed Helen Clarke recently as part of her journalism studies.

yeh mr woody's right like some people don't vote for helen clark cause she has bad teeth or messy hair and they don't focus on the more important aspects like how reliable and trustworthy and fair they are!!
i vote winston peters and thanks to kate shepherd women are allowed to vote!!!

Well Kitty Milo you are thinking of "Helen Clark" The ugly one with bad teeth. Who cares what you look like!!!!! It's about what you do for this country and the people of our nation.
The labour party is basically liberal meaning they are about improving the quality of life for all people not just those who already have a good income, business or farm etc. If John Key and the national party get in my family's quality of life will suffer because family assistance and tax credits will decrease. And income for women even highly qualified ones will be less than men.
